You will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children each day, while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children
Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and individual needs
Planning menus in line with healthy eating guidelines
Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Ordering and managing food supplies
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant
Working closely with educators to support children's nutritional needs
About you
Experienced in cooking, preferably in a child care or similar environment
Passionate about providing healthy and appealing meals for children
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Knowledgeable about food safety and allergy management
Warm, caring and committed to children's wellbeing
