The position:
We are seeking to employ experienced bus drivers to join our growing team. The successful applicant will enjoy working with children of all ages, will be committed to providing excellent service, and will strongly support the Christian ethos of the College and our motto of 'Excellence in Christ’.
We currently have a vacancy for morning and afternoon bus runs which operates between 6.30am – 8.30am and 2.15pm – 4.30pm weekdays. Opportunities are also available for occasional sports and excursion driving as required. The expected hours for this role typically range from 10 to 38 hours per week during the school term, with flexibility to accommodate the successful applicant’s availability and lifestyle. Hours may increase from time to time by mutual agreement, depending on the needs of the College.

Essential Selection Criteria
The successful applicant would demonstrate:
Commitment to the College’s vision, mission and values
Ability to work flexible hours
Previous bus driving in a school setting or experience with children highly regarded
Safe driving record
MR (Medium Rigid) licence or higher
Current Queensland Drivers Authority (DA) Note: A NSW DA maybe required for NSW work
Certified Driver Safety Assessment Report (as required from time to time)
Current Positive Notice Blue Card (Working with Children)
