Territory Manager (Tourism, Gift & Pharmacy) - QLD (Sunshine Coast)

About the role

Pacific Optics Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager (Tourism, Gift & Pharmacy) - QLD to join our growing sales team. Based on the Sunshine Coast, this is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to manage and develop key accounts across the tourism, gift and pharmacy sectors throughout Queensland. In this role, you will be the vital link between Pacific Optics and our valued customers, driving sales growth, building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction across your designated territory. This position is strategically important to our business as it directly contributes to our market expansion and revenue objectives within these key market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets across the tourism, gift and pharmacy sectors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers whilst identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory

• Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs, provide product demonstrations and ensure product availability and merchandising standards

• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers, ensuring profitability whilst remaining competitive

• Manage customer accounts effectively, including order processing, delivery coordination and resolving any issues or complaints promptly

• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify emerging trends and inform product development and marketing strategies

• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts and territory performance analysis to management

• Support customers with product knowledge, training and promotional materials to maximise their selling potential

• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless customer service and operational excellence

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in account and relationship management within the tourism, gift or pharmacy sectors, or equivalent sales experience

• Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships

• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to team objectives

• Sound business acumen and understanding of key financial metrics such as margin, volume and return on investment

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Queensland

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Preference for candidates with established connections within the Queensland tourism, gift or pharmacy industries
