About the Role

Were seeking a passionate People and Culture Business Partner to join our National People & Culture team. This role is key to shaping workplace culture, supporting leaders to meet day to day operational requirements, and aligning HR practices with business objectives across our retail network. Based in our Sydney Office full-time, you'll partner with managers, provide guidance on HR matters including ER/IR, and play a key role in driving employee engagement, retention, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Organisational Change: Support the National Business Partnering Manager in preparing for and implementing organisational changes.
• Coaching & Support: Provide guidance to senior managers and stakeholders on performance, behaviour, and decision-making.
• Employee Relations: Resolve employee issues, conduct investigations, and guide underperformance management.
• Retention & Engagement: Work with managers to identify and implement retention strategies tailored to each site.
• Policy & Compliance: Develop policies, procedures, and training while ensuring compliance.
• Communication: Facilitate effective communication across teams to enhance collaboration and cohesion.
• Workforce Planning: Monitor, report, and support workforce and succession planning

About You

• HR Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a HR Advisor ready to step up or Business Partner or similar role.
• Employee Relations Skills: Proven knowledge of workplace legislation and experience handling employee relations issues.
• Award Interpretation: Capable of interpreting the complexities of modern awards, Specifically, Retail. Warehousing, Clerks and Storage would be advantageous
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities, with a proven ability to influence and support managers but also take them on the journey.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement improvements in HR practices.
• Collaborative Approach: Relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities.
