Full Time | $75,000 – $85,000 + super, (depending on experience)

Join a growing Perth sales team

Total Steel of Australia is looking for a motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our Perth team based in Welshpool.

You'll work directly with customers across the construction, mining, manufacturing and engineering industries, helping them find the right steel products and solutions for their needs.

This is a hands-on sales role where you'll manage customer enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, build relationships and identify opportunities to grow our business.

You'll be supported by an experienced team and given the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the steel industry and build a long-term career in sales.

What you'll be doing

·       Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and online

·       Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable steel products and solutions

·       Preparing accurate and competitive quotes

·       Processing customer orders and following them through to completion

·       Building strong relationships with new and existing customers

·       Following up quotes and identifying opportunities to win new business

·       Working closely with our external sales, operations and warehouse teams

·       Maintaining accurate customer and sales information in our CRM

·       Developing your knowledge of steel products, grades, specifications and applications

·       Providing a high level of service and ensuring customers receive the right solution

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially minded and enjoys working in a busy sales environment.

You'll ideally have:

·       Previous experience in sales, internal sales, customer service or account management

·       Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers

·       Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once

·       A proactive approach to following up customers and opportunities

·       The ability to work independently while also being part of a team

·       Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and software

·       A willingness to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge

Experience in steel, mining, construction, manufacturing or industrial supplies will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn, enjoys dealing with people and wants to be part of a successful sales team.
