We are one of the largest poultry processors in Australia, supplying major brands across QSR/FCD, General Trade & Retail markets.

Production Supervisor| Thomastown, VIC

Due to continued growth across our processing operations, we are currently seeking two Production Supervisors to join our Thomastown facility.

These opportunities will oversee key production areas across our value-added and processing operations, leading teams to deliver customer orders safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a critical role in driving productivity, food safety, quality compliance and team performance within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Both positions are being offered on an initial temporary basis, with the potential to transition into permanent full-time roles for the right candidates.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day processing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead daily production operations to deliver customer orders safely, efficiently and to quality standards.

• Manage labour resources, performance, training and team development to achieve productivity targets.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and traceability requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement, waste reduction and performance outcomes.

About You

You are a proactive leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with teams and driving operational outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Proven supervisory experience in food manufacturing, poultry, meat processing or a similar production environment.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, production targets, labour planning and operational performance.

• Sound knowledge of food safety and quality systems (GMP/HACCP), excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
