Sanders Accountants is a highly respected accounting firm located in Leabrook, in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. We specialise in providing practical accounting and taxation services to a diverse range of clients, from small-medium businesses to individuals, family groups and SMSFs. Our dedicated team of 9 professional accountants and administration staff are committed to excellence in personal service and to maintaining the highest standards of professional expertise.

What's the role?
We are seeking a professional, friendly and detail-oriented Senior Accountant.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for the day-to-day preparation of tax returns, financial statements and BAS for a wide range of clients, industries and entity types. You will apply your expertise to ensure accuracy in the completed reports, lodgements and associated workpapers.
Completing your work in a timely and efficient manner using our firm's well-established and well-designed workpapers, meeting targets.
Communicating regularly with our team members, while working with and reporting to our senior accountants and partners.
Interacting with clients, responding to issues in a practical way, providing our clients with a positive experience.
Working with team members to help each other and bringing a positive attitude to our workplace.
Requirements of the role
To excel in this role, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual with the following qualifications and experience:
Hold a tertiary accounting qualification.
CA or CPA qualifications (or nearing completion of CA or CPA studies), demonstrating your commitment to professional growth and expertise in the field.
Extensive previous experience (at least 5 years) in Public Practice producing accounting and tax work to a range of clients.
Possess a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with Income tax, CGT and GST.
Proficient with MYOB, Xero, and Excel

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
