Site Agent - Wastewater Experience - New Zealand

ConsultANZ is seeking experienced Site Agents to join our client’s team for water treatment works in Hamilton, Waikato. Our client specialises in delivering innovative solutions to complex civil, construction, and engineering projects throughout New Zealand. This role requires experienced team players who can contribute their knowledge and skill set to support the company’s continued success.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivery of the project in correspondence with the plan, the budget, and the specific project goals.
• Management and supervision of the assigned staffs.
• Keep track of costs, check valuations prepared by subcontractors and manage accordingly.
• Make that all QA and OHS criteria for the project are recorded and followed.
• Uphold a strong sense of community within the team and the business at large.
• Ensure that all work is executed successfully and in compliance with the relevant standards.
• Communicate with other engineers, foremen, and supervisors to ensure a full understanding of the information provided. 
• Check works are completed as required by the specification. 

A successful candidate will bring into the role:

• Degree-holder with relevant background ideally with structural experience (i.e. concrete) and water-related infrastructures.
• At least 7 years of experience related field
• An in-depth appreciation of engineering techniques, construction processes, and their suitability.
• A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
• Be able to show autonomy.
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress in your career.
