Psychologist-Senior - Community Care Unit

We're excited to welcome a Psychologist-Senior to the Community Care Unit (CCU).

The CCU is a 35-bed community-based service for adult consumers aged 18 – 65 years who have a severe and persistent mental illness. These symptoms substantially impair their psychosocial function and the capacity for independent living. The CCU is a level 5 non-acute facility as outlined in the Clinical Services Capability framework (CSCF).

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level Psychological clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Psychology practitioners and students as delegated.
• Communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to influence the culture towards a common, patient-centred vision and direction.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary part time position available for up to 4.5 years duration, 38 hrs p.f.).
