About the Role:

As an assistant accountant, you will be supporting the Finance Administration team with key finance processes, including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Process Compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

Record to Report (RTR)

Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and annual financial statements.Support journal entries, accruals, general ledger reconciliations.Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.Assist with regular submissions, e.g., tax, statistical data etc., to government authorities

Procure to Pay (PTP)

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.Support vendor onboarding and compliance with procurement policies.

Order to Cash (OTC)

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.Assist in SAPTM reconciliationsReconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues.Assist in credit checks and customer master data maintenance.

Process Compliance

Perform monthly purchases cut-off testing to validate if SAP record are timely updatedPerform monthly 3-way checking for selected samples (verify PO vs. evidence of goods/ services received vs. invoice qty/ prices)Perform annual contract repository monitoring checking to validate if contracts are duly uploaded in designated folder in accordance with Contract Policy

Perform additional responsibilities and tasks assigned, which may extend beyond the scope of the duties outlined above.

Candidate Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP is a mustStrong foundation in accounting principlesStrong attention to detail with accuracy and analytical skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applicationsExperience in liaising with external auditor is a plus
