VET Coordinator

The College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised VET Coordinator to join our team.

Reporting to the Head of VET & Future Pathways, this important role coordinates external Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and industry-specific workplace learning opportunities, helping students navigate meaningful pathways beyond school.

Working closely with students, families, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and employers you will play a vital role in ensuring students are engaged, supported and successful throughout their VET journey.

As the primary contact for external VET qualifications, you will:

• Coordinate enrolments, attendance, communication and compliance across external VET programs.

• Monitor student progress, participation and wellbeing.

• Provide proactive support to students and families to maximise successful course completion.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with RTOs, employers and key stakeholders.

• Conduct workplace and training site visits.

• Support workplace learning programs and industry engagement opportunities.

• Assist with reporting, data management and administrative requirements.

• Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-performing pathways team.

The Successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and TRBWA registration.

• Experience in VET, workplace learning, secondary education, training or program coordination.

• Strong understanding of VET pathways, apprenticeships, traineeships and school-based vocational education.

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.

• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and confidence working across multiple administrative systems.

• A current Working with Children Check.

This is a permanent, full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity to commence in Term 1 2027 or earlier by negotiation.
