We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join the Q Station team and gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand communications.

This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a current undergraduate student, recent graduate or someone looking to take their first step into a career in marketing. You don’t need extensive professional experience - we’re looking for someone with curiosity, creativity, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning.

Your role:

• Support the creation and scheduling of social media content, including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video.

• Assist with website updates, email marketing, blogs, and other digital content.

• Create and maintain engaging marketing collateral using Canva and other creative tools.

• Support content capture, events, campaigns, and on-site marketing activity across Q Station.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of Q Station’s marketing activity. Our successful candidate will...

• Create, edit and schedule approved social media content across Q Station’s channels, including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video.

• Assist with content calendars, campaigns, promotions, and seasonal marketing activity.

• Capture and prepare photo and video content across the property where required.

• Assist with website updates, blogs, EDMs, and other digital content using approved templates and messaging.

• Check content for spelling, grammar, links, formatting, and accuracy before approval.

• Create and update marketing materials including signage, flyers, menus, posters, and promotional collateral.

• Support graphic design requirements using Canva and other approved tools.

• Engage with guests and followers through approved social media channels in a professional and brand-appropriate manner.

• Monitor and respond to Google reviews using approved guidelines, escalating sensitive or complex matters where required.

• Support on-site marketing activations, content capture, events, and promotional activity.

• Maintain organised marketing files and digital assets.

• Assist with basic reporting, task tracking, briefs, and marketing administration.

• Work collaboratively with teams across Q Station to support marketing activity and ensure content remains accurate, current, and on-brand.

Essential Criteria

• Current study in marketing, communications, media, design or a related field is advantageous, but not essential.

• Recent graduates and candidates looking to begin their marketing career are encouraged to apply.

• A genuine interest in marketing, social media, digital content, and brand communication.

• A creative eye and interest in producing clean, engaging, and visually appealing content.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Canva, or a willingness to learn.

• Strong written communication, spelling and grammar.

• Good organisation, time management, and attention to detail.

• A reliable, positive and proactive approach, with a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.

• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.

• Basic photography, video editing, website content management or graphic design skills are advantageous, but we don’t expect you to be an expert.

• Flexible availability aligned with marketing workload, operational requirements and agreed study commitments.
