Functions Coordinator

About the role

As the first point of contact for all things functions and events, you'll manage bookings from enquiry through to execution, develop new corporate and community business (including working alongside our golf team on corporate golf days), and partner with our hospitality staff to make sure every event runs without a hitch.

Key responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for function and event enquiries, quotes and proposals
• Proactively grow new business — corporate, social and community
• Plan and deliver flawless events, from run sheets to on-the-day execution
• Build and maintain our annual social calendar and keep listings up to date
• Support digital marketing campaigns to promote what's on

About you

• Experience in events, functions or hospitality coordination
• A proactive, sales-minded approach to winning new business
• Sharp organisational skills and an eye for detail
• Great communication skills and a professional, member-first attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed
