The Baths Middle Brighton is a multi-faceted facility (Café, Event Venue, Fish & Chip Shop & Health Club) located on the waterfront in Brighton with beachfront bay and city views.
Established in 1881, the Brighton Baths is a unique, historically significant and inspiring venue unlike any other in this industry. We are privileged to have a knowledgeable, dedicated management and front of house team that pride themselves on providing a high level of service that our premium clientele have come to expect.
We offer flexible working hours with no split shifts, excellent working conditions with a competitive rate of pay and the ability to grow within the venue.
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and committed person to take on the Full-Time role of Café Manager. This position requires an autonomous, resilient, solution-focused person to lead our staff into an efficient & productive workday.
Task will include but not limited to;
Support Venue Manager and Director in daily operations, working closely together
Manage our F&B team efficiently, ensuring you lead by example
Manage staff rosters and shift checklists
Maintain policy and procedures
Ensure staffing procedures are relevant and updated where necessary to improve efficiency and productivity
Maintain stakeholder relationships

Key Qualifications/ Experience
Must have a minimum of 4 years of hospitality industry experience
Proven management experience
RSA Certificate essential
Be able to lead a young and enthusiastic team
Worked in high-volume and quality venues
Be extremely organised
Be a great communicator
Have a positive working attitude and a friendly and relaxed service style
Available to work evenings and weekends
Full working rights in Australia
