As an Educational Leader/2IC at Charley's Place, you will play an important role in shaping the quality of our educational program, supporting educators and creating meaningful learning experience's for children.
But this role is more than programming and practice.

Key responsibilities:
Support Educators in the planning, implementing and evaluating of curriculum-based learning experiences that promote holistic child development
Creating safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity and social interaction
Building positive relationships with children and families, fostering trust and open communication
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent and cohesive approaches to childcare and education
Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and helping them develop social skills and resilience
Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies and procedures
Mentoring and supervising other educators, providing guidance and support to ensure quality practice
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting professional development within the service
About you:
A relevant Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification, such as a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
A passion to drive a team in contemporary early childhood education practices and the ability to implement play-based, child-centred approaches to learning
A strong commitment to creating inclusive environments that respect and celebrate diversity
Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records
Sound understanding of the EYLF, Child Safe Standards, NQF, and Regulation & Law
