About the role
Court Grammar School is a growing Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, Independent co-educational school in the Anglican tradition located in Mundijong. Our aim is to build a sense of belonging with the necessary frameworks to allow our students to feel valued and included in all facets of learning.
Due to ongoing growth in the School we are looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic part time (0.6FTE) Music Teacher to join our team for 2027. We welcome applications from both experienced and recent graduates who are passionate about wanting to inspire students and deliver high quality and engaging Music Curriculum from Years 7 to 10.
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate their competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers): Professional knowledge; Professional practice; and Professional engagement.
Teach Y7 – Y10 Music
Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum.
Use a wide range of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and performance.
Monitor student progress in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and School guidelines.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with other staff, students, and parents
Work cooperatively in a team environment, and
Support the Christian ethos of the school
