Pharmacist Intern

Capital Chemist Curtin is looking for a motivated pharmacist intern for 2027!

The role involves supporting our pharmacists and helping to drive professional services including vaccinations, complex compounding, leave certificates, IVF medication counselling, UTI consult and woundcare.

The intern will have allocated weekly time off the floor to spend with your preceptor to help train and guide you through your intern year.

Regular duties will include:

• General dispensing

• Leave certificates and vaccinations under the supervision of a pharmacist

• Complex compounding in our specialised lab

• Dose aid administration tasks

• Counselling patients in dispensary and OTC medicines to achieve optimal health outcomes

• UTI consult

Attributes of the successful candidate:

• An eye for detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work well with a great team to maintain a positive environment for colleagues and customers

• A positive attitude and be motivated to learn new skills

Requirements:

• A Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree

You will be required to work 76 hours per fortnight with flexible working hours.
