Registered Nurse (RN) – General Practice

About the role

As a key member of the clinical team, you will work closely with GPs, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive nursing services to a diverse patient population. This casual position offers approximately 25-30 hours per week, with flexibility required to assist with additional shifts covering staff sick leave and annual leave as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Chronic Disease Management

• Health Assessments

• Immunisations (all age groups)

• Wound Care and Dressings

• ECGs and Holter Monitor Fitting

• Care Coordination and Recall Systems

• Assisting with Procedures

• Infection Control and Cold Chain Management

• Patient Education and Health Promotion

• Triage and Clinical Assessments

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years' nursing experience

• CPR Certificate

• Previous General Practice experience preferred

• Current immunisation certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Proficient computer skills and experience with clinical software systems
