SENIOR TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT – TOOWOOMBA - LONG-ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 769)

The Role: 

• Lead and manage a portfolio of small to medium business clients, providing high-level tax, accounting and advisory services 

• Prepare complex financial statements, tax returns and provide strategic business advice 

• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to add value 

• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence 

• Work collaboratively with partners, contributing to strategic initiatives and practice growth 

• Occasional travel to Roma, Miles, and Taroom offices to support regional clients 

About You: 

• You have 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice, preferably across multiple industries 

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with strong technical and advisory expertise 

• Skilled in client relationship management, with exceptional communication and negotiation abilities 

• Proactive, autonomous and able to drive solutions while supporting the wider team 

• Passionate about mentoring and developing others while delivering exceptional client service
