About The Opportunity

At Karinya Place, you’ll enjoy a peaceful Laidley location surrounded by open country views, a warm and calming setting that nurtures comfort, connection, and care. In this position you will be assisting in the provision of high-quality fresh meals to the residents of the facility, in support of maintaining their quality of life.

This role requires availability Monday to Sunday between 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM for 8 shifts and 9:30 AM to 5:36 PM for 2 shifts each fortnight.

Your Day-to-day Will Involve

Assist the Chef and other staff in the preparation of high-quality, fresh meals that meet residents’ dietary requirements and personal preferencesProvide assistance to Support Services staff in meal service to residentsEnsure kitchen cleanliness and always adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

About You

Experience in commercial food preparationCurrent NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceKnowledge of Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety standards relevant to Aged CareA compassionate, resident-focused approachPrevious experience in Aged Care industry is desirable
