Registered Nurse - Day Procedures Unit

The Day Procedures Unit at Greenslopes Private Hospital is expanding, with multiple permanent opportunities available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Admissions, Recovery and Discharge Team.

This role offers excellent family-friendly working hours, Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon shifts available. Importantly, there are no night shifts or weekend work, making this an attractive opportunity for nurses seeking a positive work-life balance.

You will work within a modern and supportive environment alongside a highly respected team of surgeons, nurses and support staff.

The Day Procedures Unit includes:

• 10 procedure rooms/operating theatres
• 30 recovery bays
• A dedicated discharge lounge supporting both Day Procedure Unit and Theatre patients
• A diverse range of specialties, including Gastroenterology, IVF, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Pain Management, Dermatology, Respiratory and Urology

About You

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

You will:

• Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and the wider Day Procedures team

Essential Criteria

• Minimum one year of post-graduate clinical experience in a Day Procedure or Theatre PACU environment
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and professional practice

Remuneration: On offer for this role is a base hourly rate ranging from $39.96 - $54.01 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 Gr1-Gr8*).
