Student Support Services Psychologist

The Department of Education is looking for a skilled and passionate Psychologist to contribute to the important work of our Goulburn Student Support Services (SSS) teams working out of our Shepparton and Seymour offices. This role supports schools to address the barriers that impact on students' access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

Our Goulburn SSS Program is a multidisciplinary team that thrives on collaborative innovative practice, sharing expertise and working alongside each other in the best interests of our students. We support whole program engagement and discipline specific peer supervision whilst also working alongside the Area's wider Health and Wellbeing workforces.

The Goulburn Area SSS work out of two offices: Shepparton & Seymour and we welcome staff to apply identifying which office best suits. Goulburn SSS cover the whole area so travel between offices may be included within your workday.

As part of the Goulburn Area multi-disciplinary health, wellbeing, and inclusion team, you will help build the capability of Goulburn schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing.

Required: A graduate or post-graduate degree in Psychology, a full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA, and a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.)
