Registered Nurse – General Practice

Are you a Registered Nurse who enjoys the variety and patient relationships that come with working in general practice?

OceansPlus Medical Centre is looking for a full-time Practice Nurse to join our supportive team. You will work alongside our GPs and practice team to provide quality, patient-centred care to a diverse community.

About the Role

This is a varied general practice nursing role that includes:

• Chronic disease management and health assessments

• Patient triage and clinical observations

• Immunisations and vaccine management

• Wound care and management

• Venepuncture and blood collection

• IV cannulation

• Patient recalls and follow-up care

• Treatment room and cold chain management

About You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is professional, approachable and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.

Essential:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Australian working rights

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A collaborative and patient-centred approach

Highly regarded:

• Previous general practice nursing experience

• Recognised immunisation training

• Venepuncture and IV cannulation competency

• Experience with Best Practice Medical Software

• Additional language skills
