The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our growing team. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial and contractual integrity of our projects through meticulous documentation and process management.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process contractor/supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
Maintain comprehensive contract files and documentation
Process variations and claims in accordance with contract requirements
Assist in preparing progress claims and managing project financial documentation
Monitor and track project costs against budgets
Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding contractual matters
Maintain registers for insurances, bank guarantees, and other contract securities
Assist in tender preparation and contract administration
Support project teams with contract interpretation and compliance
Proven experience in contract administration, preferably in civil construction
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Experience with construction management software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining team collaboration
Understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation
Experience with AS2124, AS4000, or similar contract frameworks
Previous experience in civil construction industry
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Business, or related field
Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
