The MHDA Family Worker is based at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (NBH) is an exciting opportunity facilitate family inclusive care and build capacity and capability of clinical staff to work with families and carers. The FW is part of a small supportive team who work across MHDA NSLHD.

Where you'll be working
Family and Carers Mental Health Program, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, Northern Sydney Local Health District, Sydney.
What you'll be doing
The Family Worker will provide specialist family interventions for complex presentations. The position offers a consultative style service, working with clinicians, consumers and families to deliver family sensitive practice. This position has a significant role in providing education and training, with supervision and support to clinicians regarding family and carer work. There is scope for innovative, creative and adaptive thinking to design and lead projects that meet the needs of the staff and local community.
