Maia Mothers Collective
About the role
Are you an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist who is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum and the broader seasons of womanhood?
Maia Mothers Collective is looking for a warm, skilled and genuinely caring practitioner to join our established multidisciplinary women’s health clinic in Ascot.
This is a part-time opportunity offering $70 per completed treatment hour. The successful practitioner may begin with fewer hours while establishing their caseload, with the opportunity to build to approximately 24-32 treatment hours per week.
We’re looking for someone who can build strong relationships with clients, contribute positively to our team and deliver bodywork that is both clinically purposeful and deeply regulating.
Your responsibilities will include:Providing high-quality remedial and pregnancy massage treatments
Assessing each client’s needs and adapting treatment accordingly
Supporting women experiencing pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum recovery, muscular pain, headaches, postural strain and nervous-system overload
Creating a safe, welcoming and trauma-aware treatment experience
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes
Communicating with other Maia practitioners to support collaborative care and appropriate cross-referrals
Building trusted, ongoing therapeutic relationships with clients
Contributing to Maia’s warm, connected and values-led team culture
A Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent recognised qualification
Specific pregnancy massage training and practical experience
Eligibility to provide private health fund rebates
Current professional association membership
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
An ABN and all relevant professional registrations
A thoughtful, individualised and trauma-aware approach to care
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily
A reliable, proactive and professional approach
A genuine interest in women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum care
A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider Maia community
Previous experience in women’s health, postpartum care or a multidisciplinary clinic will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will enjoy:A competitive rate of $70 per completed treatment hour
The opportunity to progressively build a caseload of approximately 24-32 treatment hours per week
Access to Maia’s established and engaged client community
Strong opportunities for internal referrals and collaborative care
The support of practitioners across nutrition, naturopathy, acupuncture, psychology, occupational therapy and lactation
Administrative and clinic support
Exposure through Maia Mothers’ established brand, marketing and community
A beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinic at 89 Beatrice Terrace, Ascot
A supportive, values-led team where practitioners know, trust and refer to one another
The opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term work within women’s health
Maia Mothers Collective is a multidisciplinary women’s health clinic supporting women across preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood and beyond.
We believe women deserve care that sees the whole person, not simply an isolated symptom. Our approach brings together physical health, nervous-system support, identity and community, with thoughtful collaboration between practitioners when it benefits the client.
