About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Pathology Billing Team Leader to oversee end to end billing operations, drive team performance, and ensure accurate, timely revenue processes.
Lead daily operations
Manage specialised billing enquiries and processes
Generate, review and distribute key weekly and monthly reports
Oversee monthly close processes
Coordinate team workflows, distribute debt collection tasks, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate weekly team meetings and continuous process improvement.
Classifications for this position will range from HSUA Grade 4.
Your Contribution
Proven experience in medical billing, practice management or medical administration
Strong understanding of Medicare and private health fund billing processes
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

About St Vincent's Pathology
St Vincent’s Pathology is a not not-for-profit Pathology Service providing a broad range of Pathology services to a number of teaching hospitals, private hospitals, specialists and general practitioners around Melbourne. The Billing Team operates within the Pathology Management section and comprises 7 FTE. It is responsible for all invoicing, payment receipts and debt recovery associated with pathology testing.
