Project Accountant

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a dynamic, project-driven business supporting operations across Australia and Singapore.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on commercial role where you'll work closely senior leadership, taking ownership of the financial lifecycle of projects, from billing and job costing through to reconciliations and month-end.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing project setup, budgets, job costing and financial tracking
• Reviewing purchase orders and supplier invoices against project budgets
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring accurate cost capture
• Managing client billing milestones and sales invoicing
• Managing project vendors and freelancers across APAC
• Coordinating supplier documentation, contracts and compliance
• Managing AP and AR for assigned projects
• Resolving client and supplier queries
• Completing weekly payment runs and supplier reconciliations
• Supporting bank reconciliations, journals and month-end close
• Maintaining accurate project financial records
• Providing project documentation and audit support when required

About You:

• An accounting degree or equivalent qualification
• 3–5 years' accounting experience
• Strong project accounting or agency finance experience
• Strong Excel and accounting systems capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with multiple projects and competing priorities
• An understanding of GST requirements across Australia and Singapore
• A proactive, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Procim will be highly regarded.
