Job Summary

Pentair is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to support our Residential business across Australia and New Zealand. This role will play an important part in enhancing Pentair's brand awareness, online visibility and customer engagement across the region, helping to strengthen our position in the residential water solutions market.

This is a casual internship opportunity, based in Dandenong South, Melbourne, offering valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing, market research, social media, website optimization and emerging AI technologies.

Working closely with our business teams, you will assist with digital research, content analysis, reporting and recommendations aimed at increasing Pentair's online presence and brand awareness.

This role is ideal for a university student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Essential Job Functions

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research into Pentair's digital presence and online visibility.

• Analyze competitor activity and identify market trends.

• Assist with reviewing website, app and AI search performance.

• Support the development of recommendations to improve digital engagement and brand awareness.

• Help maintain records, reports and processes for future reference.

• Assist in promoting Pentair's products across digital platforms, with a focus on residential and firefighting pump solutions.

• Support social media and digital marketing initiatives as required.

• Undertake other administrative and marketing duties as assigned.

About You

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, IT or a related field.

• Strong interest in digital marketing, AI, social media and online brand promotion.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or similar platforms for research or content creation is desirable.

• Knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

• Exposure to Google Ads, SEO or website analytics is advantageous but not essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and eagerness to contribute within a team environment.
