Group Fitness Instructors (Recruitment Pool)

About the roles
We’re on the lookout for qualified Group Fitness professionals with experience and certification in multiples areas. Whether your specialty is LesMills, Aqua Aerobics, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, HIIT, Gym & BoxFit, or freestyle programs, we’d love to hear from you!
In these roles, you’ll develop and deliver engaging workouts, ensuring excellent customer service along the way. Importantly, you have a natural ability to motivate and inspire people to reach their fitness goals and have a keen eye on new initiatives and programs to meet market trends within the fitness industry.

What you’ll be doing in these roles
Delivering fun, safe and engaging classes tailored to a wide range of fitness levels
Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation
Keeping up-to-date with new fitness trends and develop programs that meet customer needs
Ensuring the safety & wellbeing of participants and ensuring fitness resources are maintained
Representing the Leisureplexes with enthusiasm, professionalism and a community-first attitude!
Shifts may include weekdays and weekends from early mornings to evenings, in-line with Leisureplex opening hours
About you and who we’re looking for
Group fitness qualifications and proven experience instructing group fitness classes
Group Exercise Leader (GEL) Certificate and Certificate III & IV Fitness are highly desirable
Registration with AusActive highly desirable
Current Provide First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years) and current CPR certificate (less than 1 year)
Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
A friendly, enthusiastic and approachable style that connects with people of all ages and abilities
Safety minded and able to facilitate safe and professional group fitness sessions
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of both Canning and Riverton Leisureplexes

Competitive casual rates from $62.76 - $68.38 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + super + penalties on weekends
