Solution Lead

Join the client’s dynamic team as a Solution Lead in Adelaide, South Australia! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-visibility, client-embedded role within the Resources & Energy sector. The position is offered on a full-time basis, initially for a fixed-term period, with a flexible working arrangement that includes on-site engagement and potential collaborative remote work.

As the Solution Lead, you will work closely with the client’s Capital Growth & Strategy team to embed technology strategy into major capital investment programmes and a diverse portfolio of smaller technology projects. This role is pivotal at the intersection of technology strategy, project delivery, and operational transformation, supporting one of the largest capital programmes in the resources sector.

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Analyse the client’s technology strategy and translate it into actionable scope inputs for capital projects.
• Identify gaps between project scopes and strategy intent, providing structured recommendations.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, EPCMs, and stakeholders to embed requirements into design and delivery processes.
• Track and report on the alignment of technology strategies across the capital programme.
• Support scoping, analysis, and business case development for technology projects under $20 million.
• Maintain visibility of portfolio status, dependencies, and strategic alignment.
• Facilitate coordination between technology, project delivery, and operational teams.
• Build effective relationships across functions and produce clear analysis, gap assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Support governance reporting and prepare high-level briefings for senior stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Proven experience in a business analysis, strategy, or project advisory position.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Based in Adelaide, with on-site presence required.

It is desirable if you have:

• Exposure to capital projects within mining, resources, energy, utilities, or heavy industries.
• Familiarity with technology or digital transformation in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of operational technology, automation, or digital solutions in asset-heavy industries.
• Understanding of capital project investment frameworks like stage-gate or FEL/FEED.
• Knowledge of mining or resource operations.
