Storeperson - Food Services

We're excited to welcome a Storeperson to our Food Services team.

As the Storeperson, improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will maintain the Store for Food Services, ordering and recording food supplies while observing Food Safety requirements. You will support imprest storage locations throughout the hospital ensuring the Food Service meets customer's needs.

You will work as part of a larger team in a state-of-the-art kitchen facility and dedicated kitchen dock, interacting with Food Services staff, Supply and Logistics team members, and other internal customers. As the Storeperson, your close and collaborative working relationship with the Head Chef is criticial to ensure kitchen and food supplies are readily available to the meet the timely needs of the 14 day menu and patient meal delivery schedule at SCUH and provision of food suplies to other SCHS facilities.

Key Responsibilities include:
Comply with the SCUH Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and asssist the Food Services team in reviewing the FSMS to comply with the Food Act 2006 and Food Standards Code.
Electronically monitor the temperature of all cold and frozen goods received using digital temperature monitoring systems (Monika) or probing manually.
Use of the IT online-shopping portals and ordering systems.
Monitor, check and enter tax invoices into Qld Health Inventory Management software (S4HANA).

Salary between $69,823 - $73,188 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3) (Permanent full time, 76 hrs p.f.).
