Mechanical Trades Cement Apprenticeship - 2027 Intake

We’re offering a full-time Mechanical Trade Apprenticeship for motivated individuals ready to start a rewarding trade career in a dynamic industrial environment at our Geelong Cement site.

As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll work with experienced tradespeople maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and mechanical systems at our cement plants. You’ll also be enrolled in a TAFE Mechanical Engineering course, combining classroom learning with practical, on-the-job experience.

What You'll Learn:

• Maintenance and installation of mechanical systems

• Fault-finding and troubleshooting

• Hands-on work with industrial machinery

• Safety procedures and technical reporting

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for hands-on work and problem-solving

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures

• Completion of Year 10 or higher (Maths/Science preferred)

• Must have unrestricted driver's license (P's minimum) by January 2027

• Minimum age: 17
