About Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE (NVITAFE)
At NVITAFE, we're building one connected organisation while continuing to deliver high-quality training and skills through the trusted GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE brands.
NVITAFE operates across 11 campuses in Northern Victoria, and across a further 12 sites nationally to deliver training to the Australian Defence Force.
As one of Victoria's largest regional TAFEs, with more than 1,000 employees and in excess of 14,000 students, we're investing in our people, our capability, and the future of vocational education.
Every day, our people contribute to helping learners gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to transform their lives.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced and engaging educator to join our Teacher Development team.
Reporting to Joanne Heeps, the Teacher Development Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the onboarding, induction and ongoing development of teachers across NVITAFE. You'll help educators build confidence, capability and consistency in their teaching practice, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality learning experiences for students.
Working across both GOTAFE and Wodonga TAFE operations, you'll facilitate professional development programs, coordinate teacher induction activities, monitor teacher supervision requirements and contribute to the development of learning resources and capability-building initiatives. You'll also collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to support quality teaching, innovation and continuous improvement.
This is an ideal opportunity for a highly capable VET professional who enjoys mentoring others, sharing knowledge and helping educators succeed.
