Mighty Orchid Services Pty Ltd The HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and promoting a positive work environment. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can manage HR processes efficiently while ensuring compliance with NDIS and Fair

Assistance in applying for subsidized housing schemes Work-Life balanced work culture Task & responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Management: Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff Assist with onboarding, and induction of new employees. Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Facilitate probation reviews and exit interviews. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure HR processes align with NDIS, Fair Work, and workplace safety regulations Support internal and external HR audits and assist with policy updates and implementation.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives Provide advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, staff performance and disciplinary matters Study and interpret legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts, wage payment systems and dispute settlement procedures Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for employees regarding policies, procedures, workplace matters, and the effective resolution of disputes and grievances. Promote an inclusive and positive work environment through team-building activities and engagement initiatives. Provide support for performance management processes.
Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. HR Administration & Payroll Support: Assist the Payroll team with HR-related payroll documentation. Maintain HR databases and ensure data accuracy.
Assist with HR reporting and record-keeping. Receive and record job vacancy information from employers such as details about job description, wages and conditions of employment Develop, plan and formulate enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementation Training & Development: Coordinate staff training sessions and workshops. Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation.
Support professional development initiatives for staff. Qualification & experience Qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2 Years of minimum experience in a technical HR role Experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in the disability services or community sector.
Strong understanding of NDIS, Fair Work Act, SCHADS Awards, and HR compliance requirements. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and payroll systems. Proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
