Natures Playground Early Learning Centre – Paynesville

We are growing our team and looking for some new faces to join us!

Natures Playground isn't your typical early learning centre & Kinder. We really do believe in letting children be children.

We spend a lot of time outside. We climb trees, jump in puddles, get dirty, make mud pies, look after our animals, explore the bush and generally make the most of being kids.

We believe children learn best when given the freedom to explore. They need time and space to experience the world around them, to make their own discoveries, take a few risks, get messy and learn at their own pace.

We want educators who genuinely believe in that too, as we think educators should be able to enjoy what they do and be happy coming to work each day.

We are currently looking for Diploma and Certificate III qualified educators to join our team, with both Full Time and Part Time positions available.

We are also happy to hear from people who are looking to start their career in Early Childhood and would like to study their Certificate III or Diploma while working with us.

So… who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy being around children.

People who aren’t afraid to get down on the floor, get their hands dirty, join in the fun and sometimes completely forget what time it is because you’ve been too busy investigating a bug with a group of children.

You might be an experienced educator looking for somewhere that gives you a little more freedom and trusts you to do your job.

You might be newly qualified and looking for a team that will support you while you build your confidence.

Or you might be thinking about starting a career in Early Childhood and want to learn from a team who will give you the opportunity to grow.

We’re open to all of the above.

Qualifications and experience are important, but finding the right people is just as important to us.

We are looking for educators who are:

• Interested in children's ideas, interests and individual personalities

• Comfortable having a go and bringing their own ideas

• Prepared to laugh, get messy and occasionally go home covered in dirt!

We also understand that Early Childhood can be hard work. So having a team around you that will jump in and help, have a laugh with you and get through the crazy days together is pretty important.

The boring but important stuff...

For qualified educator positions, you will need:

• An approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, as applicable to the position

• A current Victorian Working with Children Check (or VIT registration where applicable)

• Current required First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training

• Required child safety and child protection / mandatory reporting training, or willingness to complete this as required

• A commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment and meeting all child safety, reporting and duty of care responsibilities
