As we continue to expand our presence across Latin America, we are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to join our Student Recruitment team and drive engagement across the LATAM market.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, achieving targets and helping students pursue their educational goals.
You will play a key role in increasing international student enrolments from Latin America by developing and managing relationships with education agents, prospective students, industry partners and community organisations. Your ability to build an active agent network and convert enquiries into enrolments will be essential to your success.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit international students into Wattle College’s vocational education programs, with a primary focus on the LATAM market.Achieve agreed monthly student enrolment and agent activation targets.Build, manage and strengthen relationships with education agents across Latin America and Australia-based agents servicing the LATAM market.Identify, recruit, onboard and activate new education agent partners in priority LATAM markets.Conduct consultations with prospective students and provide accurate information regarding courses, fees, entry requirements and application processes.Follow up leads promptly and convert enquiries and applications into enrolments.Participate in education exhibitions, seminars, agent briefings, community events, networking activities and promotional campaigns.Undertake interstate or international travel when reasonably required.Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic recruitment partnerships across the region.Work closely with the Admissions and Marketing teams to maximise student recruitment outcomes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the College’s CRM and student management systems.Monitor market trends, student demand and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including the ESOS framework, the National Code and Genuine Student requirements.Represent Wattle College professionally and maintain high standards of customer service.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in sales, business development, student recruitment or education marketing.Experience within an RTO, university, college or the international education sector.Existing relationships with education agents or student communities across the LATAM market.Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.Portuguese language skills will be highly regarded.Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.A demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales or enrolment targets.Excellent presentation and customer service skills.The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.Strong organisational, follow-up and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and student management systems.The ability to travel when required.
