Vehicle Detailer - Toowoomba Toyota

About the role

We have almost a quarter of Toowoomba’s new car sales market share and as such we are seeking a candidate with ambition to continue this success. The main focus of the position is the cleaning and preparation of new and used vehicles for sale in the dealership.

What you'll be doing: 

• Cleaning new and used vehicle stock to Toyota standards for delivery to customers

• General cleaning and maintenance of display stock as required

• Attaching new registration plates to vehicles, after correct VIN identification procedure carried out

• Assist with receiving in new stock from transport, checking vehicles for damage and notifying management if damage observed

• Assist transporting vehicles to customers and between other storage yards or accessory fitment locations

• Assist setting up displays, tents etc. for promotions

• Maintain safe work environment, adhering to WH&S guidelines

• Assist in keeping all work areas clean and up to date

To be successful in either role you will have:

• Current C Class Manual Queensland Licence.

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail - quality control is a must!

• Excellent organisational skills

• Ability to work productively both in a team and unsupervised

• Enthusiasm about our vehicles and commitment to Toyota’s goals and operating standards

• Willingness to learn and take on feedback

• Previous experience an advantage however, in-house training will be provided to the successful applicant/s
