About the role

Operating a front roller to compact asphalt, ensuring proper maintenance of the roller and monitoring the compaction process for quality assurance. Adjusting equipment settings and compaction techniques based on surface and compaction requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operating a front roller to compact asphalt

• Ensuring proper maintenance of the roller and monitoring the compaction process for quality assurance

• Adjusting equipment settings and compaction techniques based on surface and compaction requirements

• Collaborating with supervisors and other team members to coordinate operations

• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the roller

• Following safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Communicating with the site supervisors and crew members

About you

• 4 years of experience as a Front Roller Operator

• Previous experience in Asphalt projects

• Construction White Card

• Current Driver's WA Licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Ability to work safely around mobile plant and heavy equipment

• Physically fit and capable of working in a hands-on construction environment

• Own Transport

• Willing to work 12+ hours days / night shifts and weekends

• Preferred: Roller tickets and HR

Location & Pay:

 $40 - $60 hourly depending on experience

- Weekend & night shift allowance

Casual to Full-time contracts offered
