• Accurately measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with established recipes and production schedules.
• Mix, knead and prepare doughs and batters using manual techniques and commercial bakery equipment.
• Operate and monitor bakery machinery used for rolling, shaping, moulding, slicing and portioning bakery products.
• Manage the baking process, including loading, monitoring, unloading, cooling and finishing a variety of breads, rolls and pastries.
• Decorate, glaze and finish baked goods to meet presentation and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with ordering and maintaining adequate supplies for daily production.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and sanitised before and after production.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Inspect finished products to ensure consistency, quality and compliance with bakery specifications.
• Assist customers with product enquiries when required.
• Support efficient daily bakery operations by preparing workstations and ensuring production deadlines are met.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Relevant trade qualification related to baking and patisserie
• A minimum of 2 years of baking experience

SALARY EXPECTATION: Full-time $75,000 to $85,000 per annum LOCATION Currumbin Waters, QLD
