About the role

Choice The Discount Store is seeking expressions of interest from experienced retail leaders for upcoming Store Manager opportunities across Metro Adelaide.

As a Store Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales while ensuring the store operates safely and efficiently. This is an opportunity to join a growing Australian discount retailer and play a key role in our continued expansion

What you'll be doing

• Manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to maximise productivity and sales

• Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards

• Analyse sales data and make strategic decisions to improve store performance

• Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to drive business growth and profitability

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail management role

• Previous experience in Discount, Department store or Supermarkets is essential

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build strong relationships with customers

• Proficient in using data and analytics to make informed business decisions

• Proficient in computer use

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs

• Flexibility to work across the whole week as we are a 7 day trader
