Calvary Christian College is a co-educational independent school providing excellence in Christian education to over 1,100 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. About the role...

Are you passionate about Christian education and inspiring the next generation? Calvary Christian College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teachers to join our Secondary College team in January 2027.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from Teachers across a range of Secondary subject areas, including: Agriculture, Food Technology, Humanities, Mathematics and Science. If your specialist subject area is not listed, we still encourage you to apply. We'd love to hear from you and explore how your skills and experience could contribute to our College community!

The role of a Secondary Classroom Teacher is to provide quality instruction within the College’s Christian worldview and in accordance with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.

What we are looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a current Queensland Teachers Registration.

You will have experience which demonstrates excellent, current classroom teaching techniques and practices that meet diverse needs and learning styles of students and are consistent with relevant curriculum and policies.

You will also have:

• The ability to create a culture of learning and achievement through effective planning, student management, classroom resource organisation and engaging learning strategies.
• Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Patience and a high degree of understanding and compassion.
• An enthusiastic desire and resolute commitment to actively contribute to the culture and values of the College.
• A willingness to support our Christian mission - as a preference, our ideal candidates will be able to provide a Pastoral Reference.
