Role Description The Delivery Coordinator and Customer Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Adelaide, SA. This role is responsible for coordinating vehicle deliveries, ensuring all paperwork, accessories, and pre-delivery checks are completed accurately and on schedule. The specialist will communicate regularly with customers to confirm delivery details, provide updates, and address queries or concerns before and after handover. Daily tasks include liaising with sales, service, and finance teams, maintaining accurate records of delivery status, and supporting a smooth, positive customer experience in the showroom and at delivery. The role also involves following up with customers for feedback, managing any post-delivery issues, and helping maintain the dealership’s reputation for friendly, professional service.
Qualifications
Customer service and relationship management skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional manner.Organization and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple vehicle deliveries, schedule appointments, and manage documentation accurately.Attention to detail and administrative skills, including handling contracts, delivery checklists, and data entry in dealership or CRM systems.Collaboration skills for working effectively with sales, service, parts, and finance teams to ensure seamless handovers.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues and delivery-related challenges.Basic understanding of automotive sales and dealership operations, or willingness to learn quickly.Comfort using computers and common software tools; experience with dealership management systems is an advantage.Previous experience in automotive, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment is desirable.Ability to work on-site in Adelaide, SA, with a professional appearance and conduct.Valid driver’s license suitable for test drives and vehicle movement within the dealership.
