Cool Room & Dispatch Store Person

About the role

We are seeking a Cool Room & Dispatch Store Person for our Pre-Pack cool room and dispatch processes. This is a critical operational role focused on accuracy, efficiency, food safety, and ensuring we deliver to customers In Full and On Time (DIFOT). This role operates core hours Tuesday to Friday, with early morning starts between 6:00am-7:00am. Flexibility is essential to meet operational and transport deadlines. The position will commence as casual employment, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right team member who demonstrates strong performance, reliability, and alignment with our operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Align harvest priority lists with customer orders and provide to the Harvest Manager

• Conduct accurate cool room stock takes

• Ensure daily stock rotation

• Complete accurate labelling and dispatch paperwork

• Monitor and record temperature controls

• Isolate and control shelf-life testing samples

• Ensure transport deadlines are met

• Load and unload trucks

• Operate a forklift to correctly locate and store stock

• Strictly adhere to SOPs for loading and unloading

About you

• Current Forklift Licence (Essential)

• Experience operating a forklift

• Experience in dispatch, warehousing, cool room, or food production environments

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment

• Strong communication skills

• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and hygiene standards

• Reliable with the ability to consistently meet early morning start times

• Australian citizens or permanent residents
