Full-time or Part-time | Fixed-Term Parental Leave Contract
Hamilton, Brisbane QLD
Help shape the employee experience behind life-changing patient care.

At VDC, we hire intentionally and practice values-led recruitment. As HR Manager, you will have a significant impact on employee selection, development, and learning. As such, you will have a real impact on organisational performance via this inherently operational human-resources role.
What you’ll be doing:
Partnering with leaders to provide trusted HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
Managing recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
Supporting managers with performance management, coaching and employee development.
Providing advice on Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, policies and HR best practice.
Managing employee relations, investigations and workplace matters.
Coordinating performance review and development processes.
Supporting HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working collaboratively with our Directors, General Manager, National Managers and Practice Managers to build capable, high-performing teams.
Monitoring HR compliance and maintaining accurate employment records.
Using our HR systems and processes to support an efficient and compliant people function.
We’re looking for someone who:
Brings professionalism, sound judgement and a positive approach to every interaction.
Has strong generalist Human Resources experience across recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
Has excellent knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
Builds trusted relationships and confidently partners with leaders at all levels.
Communicates clearly, professionally and respectfully.
Has exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Takes ownership, demonstrates initiative and is solutions focused.
Is passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and helping others succeed.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or a related discipline) are preferred.
Experience within healthcare or dental industries is advantageous but not essential.
Experience using HRIS platforms such as Happy HR (or similar systems) will be highly regarded.
A structured handover will be provided to support a smooth transition into the role.
Occasional travel between our Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney clinics will be required throughout the contract.
