Outbound Sales Representative

Maclean Financial is a multi-division financial services business based in Mascot, Sydney. With approximately 10,000 existing clients across equipment finance, insurance broking, accounting and advisory, and mortgage broking, we provide integrated financial services to clients in heavy industry, including transport, civil contracting, trades and construction.

As part of our growing Insurance Services division, we’re looking for a driven Outbound Sales Representative to help connect business owners with our insurance solutions.  

As an Outbound Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for engaging warm leads, identifying new business opportunities, and converting prospects into new clients. Working closely with our Insurance Broker Quoters, you’ll play a key role in growing our commercial insurance portfolio while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Contact warm leads and existing prospects via outbound calls.

• Build rapport with business owners and understand their insurance requirements.

• Convert qualified opportunities into closed sales.

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.

• Collaborate with Insurance Broker Quoters to prepare and deliver suitable insurance solutions.

• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.

• Consistently achieve individual sales and activity targets.

• Deliver a professional, customer-first experience throughout the sales journey.

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in any industry.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Experience using CRM systems is an advantage.

• Previous experience in insurance or financial services is beneficial but not required—full insurance services training will be provided.
