This is a 6-month casual opportunity with regular site visits across Queensland, offering the chance to lead operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Superintendent Regional Operations is a pivotal role within Otraco, responsible for safely delivering the tyre management scope of work, operational KPIs and business objectives across multiple sites. Working closely with Otraco management teams, client leaders and OEMs, this role drives business outcomes through strong relationships, innovation and collaboration. Your leadership will foster a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring all activities are delivered safely and effectively.
ABOUT YOU
You will have proven project management experience managing remote workforces across multiple locations, driven by the standardisation of safe practices. You will have a strong background in the resources industry with a sound knowledge of mining procedures and legislation. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Operational experience in the earthmover tyre, mining or related industry in a Supervisor, Superintendent, or management role.
Strong focus and commitment to health & safety
Sound knowledge of tyres or mining/heavy haulage industries
Experience leading large geographically disperse multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business improvement and safety improvement initiatives in remote teams.
Experience in standardising and aligning work processes across a geographically disperse business.
Experience in business development and client engagement.
Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical - Tyre fitting Heavy (AUR 21920); Essential
Certificate III in Automotive Tyre Management
