This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

The School

Alongside this, the school will be commencing its new 2027–2029 Business Plan, reflecting our ongoing commitment to strategic growth and continuous improvement across all areas of school life.

The Role
As a valued member of the Warwick SHS community, the successful applicant will be a passionate, conscientious and innovative Design and Technologies teacher. The ability to contribute to Digital Technologies will be highly regarded.
We are seeking applicants with a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum relevant to Years 7 to 10, together with the knowledge and capacity to contribute to relevant senior secondary and vocational programs in Years 11 and 12. In this role, you will deliver engaging teaching and learning programs across areas such as woodwork, jewellery, applied engineering and construction, catering to the diverse needs of Warwick SHS students and ensuring every learner is empowered to realise their potential. Capability in Digital Technologies, particularly in areas such as game design and digital design within our new state-of-the-art STEM facility, would be highly desirable. Qualifications and experience that support the delivery of Certificate II in Construction and/or Certificate III in Information Technology, or a willingness to undertake the required training, would also be highly regarded. Flexibility and a willingness to teach across other curriculum areas, as required, would also be valued.
The ideal applicant will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with staff, students and the wider Warwick SHS community. As a reflective practitioner, you will be committed to your ongoing professional growth and will actively embrace opportunities for collaboration within our learning area and across the school. You will play an active role in progressing Warwick Senior High School's purpose, vision and priorities through all aspects of your professional practice.
