As the Category Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Trading Goods portfolio through effective category administration, supplier coordination, product lifecycle management, pricing, planogram execution and commercial governance. By ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, you will enable the category team to concentrate on driving growth, strengthening supplier relationships and maximiSing portfolio performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the operational lifecycle of Trading Goods products, ensuring accurate product data, governance and stakeholder coordination.

• Support supplier management, pricing and commercial governance, maintaining supplier records and pricing data.

• Resolve supplier pricing, invoice and accounts payable discrepancies.

• Coordinate inventory-related activities with the Trading Goods Inventory Analyst.

• Support product selection and ordering for regional and national promotions.

• Maintain merchandising, ranging and planogram execution across company-owned stores.

• Monitor competitor pricing and ranging to support category decisions.

• Prepare reporting and analysis to support category reviews and commercial decisions.

• Manage Trading Goods communications and supplier enquiries.
