About the role
Hornery Water & Transport are seeking organised, proactive and reliable Administrators to join our Moranbah team.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the roles are integral to the smooth day-to-day operation of our business, providing administrative, compliance and safety support to ensure our fleet, people and systems continue to operate efficiently and safely.

About the RoleYou will support the business by maintaining compliance systems, assisting with safety initiatives and ensuring accurate fleet and maintenance records.
Working closely with our workshop, drivers and management team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high operational and safety standards Hornery Water & Transport is known for.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain driver, vehicle and site compliance requirements
Process driver dockets and workshop documentation, reconciling paperwork and resolving discrepancies
Conduct compliance checks, audits and inspections across workshop operations
Assist with internal and external compliance audits
Support onboarding, inductions and training records for new employees
Coordinate and record random Drug & Alcohol testing
Audit plant, trucks and equipment to ensure they meet company and site standards
Maintain electronic and hard-copy records, ensuring documentation is accurate, current and confidential
Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries while providing exceptional customer service
Monitor productivity and prepare reports for management
Assist in promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across the business
You'll be someone who enjoys being organised, takes ownership of your work and has a genuine commitment to safety and compliance.
You'll also have:
Previous experience in administration
Experience in transport, logistics, fleet, workshop or compliance environments (highly regarded, but not necessary)
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Confidence working independently while contributing to a team environment
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and electronic management systems
A current Queensland Driver Licence
Trainer & Assessor qualifications or site inductions (desirable but not essential)
